I was really hyped up for it to come out for quite some time. I wrote a mini review of it for Netflix. I'll repost that here. I do want to rent this one again and review it for SOH. I haven't read anything about this in a long long long time. So I didn't remember much other then it was supposed to be a few different stories. It sorta was, but it wasn't like I was expecting it to be, I thought it would be more like Creepshow. Some of the imagery was pretty neat, all the lit pumpkins and stuff like that. I think all the anticipation, and all the great reviews really ruined my expectations for this. It felt like a made for TV children's horror movie to me. I didn't enjoy the last 20 to 30 minutes of the movie. The movie had A LOT of potential, but just didn't deliver like I was expecting. 2 1/2 stars - would be 3 except for the ending I’d like to see this movie again. I was recommended the film too by someone on the Camp Blood forum (http://www.campblood.net/forum) and I did set my DVR up to record it, but then I never got around to watching it. Then years later (a few months ago) I gave the original another viewing, then watched the remake again.
