A re-imagining of the 1984 slasher classic about Freddy Krueger, a serial-killer who crosses the boundary between dreams and the waking world to gut his victims with his razor-sharp blade-fingered glove. As Nancy and her friends fight for their lives, they also uncover clues to a shocking secret from their past.
First off, let me say, I’m not a huge fan of the original Nightmare on Elm Street series. Yes, I grew up in the 80s with Freddy, Jason and Michael. But for some reason I just never liked the ANOES series very much... Continue reading
The town of Leadville, Colorado is plagued by a mysterious flu. Soon the towns people are turning into ultra fast flesh eating zombies. The military has been called in to quarantine the entire town, nobody in or out. Soon even they can’t help the situation as they are eaten by the hordes of zombies. Corporal Sarah Bowman, and a small group of people attempt to survive and head out of town. This is a remake of George A. Romero’s Day of the Dead.
I have NOT seen the original film, and at this point in time I don’t plan to. I’m a fan of the original Night of the Living Dead, and I enjoyed the remake a lot. I saw the original Dawn of the Dead years ago and thought it was horrible. I truly believe its one of those movies a lot of people like because everyone else does... Continue reading
Charley is a high school senior who’s on top of the world—he’s running with the popular crowd and dating Amy, the most coveted girl in school. After his classmates start to mysteriously disappear without a trace, Charlie discovers that there is more to his new neighbor than meets the eye. Now he must do all he can to protect his mom and girlfriend Amy.
When I heard they were remaking this movie I got pissed. I loved the original film. Grew up with it. I even “sorta” enjoyed Fright Night Part 2. I had no idea what to expect out of a remake for this... Continue reading
Studying abroad in Romania, high schoolers Charley and Ed must stop a sexy vampire's chilling plan to bathe in the blood of a "new moon virgin" -- who happens to be Charley's ex-girlfriend. The guys enlist the help of a vampire-hunting TV show host.
After the disaster of Fright Night the remake, I didn’t think this sequel to the remake could be much better. And other then some obvious flukes, it was actually the better of the two. That’s saying a lot since it was filled with a bunch of nobodies, and it was obviously NOT a sequel. No way it could have been. Continue reading
Donna and her friends head off to senior prom, but what Donna doesn’t know is that a killer who stalked her years ago has followed her to the hotel where Prom is taking place. One by one her friends are killed off as he tries to get her alone. Will Donna be able to escape? This is loosely remade from the 1980 film of the same title starring Jamie Lee Curtis.
Other then this taking part at a prom, and the title, there is nothing in it like the original film (from what I remember). It wasn't that bad of a movie, if say you are a 12-13yr old who has never seen a horror movie... Continue reading
