Brain Dead (2007)

[rating:1.5/5] In this low-budget horror flick from director Kevin Tenney, a sleepy fishing port town is consumed with terror when a small crater crash-lands nearby and releases a slimy parasitic agent that transforms the residents into brain-eating zombies. Cornered in an abandoned fishing lodge, six strangers are forced to band together to stave off the blood-sucking monsters clawing the walls outside.

The screams -- and laughs -- come fast and furious in this anthology of four tongue-in-cheek horror tales, each from a different writer/director. The baddies range from a gang of gay "werebears" and a monster sperm to Nazi madmen and zombies.

I went into this movie not knowing a thing about it other then Adam Green had something to do with it. I love his films Hatchet & Frozen, and that’s why I requested this to review on BluRay...

The military has been called in to quarantine the entire town, nobody in or out. Soon even they can’t help the situation as they are eaten by the hordes of zombies. Corporal Sarah Bowman, and a small group of people attempt to survive and head out of town. This is a remake of George A. Romero’s Day of the Dead.

When the B&B's owner and the chef don't survive the night, the travelers are the prime suspects. Seeing how this is a short story, there isn’t all that much to write about in response to how I liked the story other then saying I loved it...
