After her father’s gruesome murder, Jenn needed a place to get away from it all with some friends, to take her mind off her grief. The empty seaside cottage she inherited seemed perfect. Jenn didn’t know that the cottage held arcane secrets, mysteries long hidden and best left alone. She didn’t realize until it was too late that the old books and Ouija board she found there really do hold great power. And it was only after her friend’s headless body was discovered that she knew the legend of the local bogeyman was no mere legend at all.

When she set out to throw the ultimate Halloween party, Angela (Shannon Elizabeth) picked the spookiest site she could find: the rumored-to-be-cursed Broussard Mansion. But by “ultimate,” she didn’t mean for it to be her last. Still, thanks to gates that have inexplicably locked, Angela and her friends (Edward Furlong, Monica Keena, Bobbi Sue Luther, John F. Beach, Michael Copon and Diora Baird) are now trapped inside with no way out.

On Halloween night a group of teens head off to the abandoned Hull House – former funeral home, and of course rumored to be haunted by the family that was slaughtered there on Halloween night years before. A small party is being thrown by Angela, the local “weird” girl. After a little dancing the group decide to hold a séance which unleashes demons who quickly “lock up” the house so they can’t escape. The demon’s kill and possess the party-goers one by one.

A chilling prequel to the forthcoming horror movie Playback, starring Christian Slater, Alessandra Torresani, and Toby Hemingway, in which a group of high-school students accidentally awakens an evil that possesses its victims through video. The dark curse dates back to turn-of-the-century New York, and begins with a grudge surrounding the birth of film itself. While fooling around with the movie camera invented by his murdered grandfather, a rich young playboy is overcome with bloodlust—and sets out to kill one of history’s most beloved figures.

Despite his conviction that demonic possession is just so much superstitious mumbo jumbo, Catholic priest-in-training Michael Kovak (Colin O’Donoghue) journeys to Rome to attend a special exorcism school being taught at the Vatican. Before long, true-believer Father Lucas (Anthony Hopkins) introduces the young cleric to the devil’s power firsthand. Director Mikael Håfström helms this graphic supernatural thriller inspired by a true story.

Some 70 years after Jacob Burkitt snapped and killed his entire family, thrill-seeking teens crash the allegedly haunted Burkitt Manor to give their friend Sara (Adrienne Fischer) a spooky surprise for her 18th birthday. But as the night drags on — and her friends start dying off, one by one — Sara begins to realize that an unspeakable evil is throwing her a killer party. Alicia Kenney and Oliver Lucach co-star.
